Professor Terri-ann White FAHA is the director of UWA Publishing in Perth, producing a wide range of fiction and non-fiction. She has had a long and varied career in the arts, as a writer, editor, academic, independent bookseller, judge and festival organiser.


Terri-ann will start by briefly outlining her professional experience. She will then present on a variety of topics such as changes in editing and publishing, the importance of professional development and accreditation for editors in Western Australia, and forging links to build a stronger community.

A selection of UWAP publications will be available to purchase on the evening, including the winner of the Miles Frankilin Literary Award 2017: ‘Extinctions’ by Josephine Wilson.
