I have been a journalist for 39 years, 37 of them as a sub editor for The West Australian and The Sunday Times. I left The Sunday Times in February 2012 as Deputy Features Editor overseeing the editing and production of all inserted products including STM and the TV and entertainment guides. Since 2012 I have been managing editor of an independent monthly medical magazine, Medical Forum WA, responsible for writing, editing and production. I have also edited three memoirs and a history of Andrew Forrest's family property, Minderoo Station.
Qualifications I hold a BA (Hons) in English from the University of WA.
