To join the Society, download the Membership Application form. To renew your membership, download the Membership Renewal form. Please fill out the form and post it to the address on the form along with the fee. The fees for each year (February of one year to February of the next no matter when you join), are $60 and $50 for concessions (including students).

As an introduction to the Society, you are welcome to come as a guest to one of our monthly meetings. This is the best way to see what editors do. If you decide to apply for membership, on your application form you will be asked about your qualifications, experience and reasons for wanting to join. Your application must be endorsed and seconded by two current members. We are happy to guide you through this process.

Contact the membership officer who, after discussing your reasons for wanting to join, will be the first member to endorse your application.
